Leslie Larch, BFA, Certified STOTT PILATES™ Instructor

Island Pilates Center Instructor Leslie LarchAfter a successful career as a professional dancer, Leslie Larch obtained a BFA in Dance at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. She taught dance for many years while continuing her education through Western Washington University to acquire a Washington State Teaching Certificate. She then worked as a Dance Specialist in the Vancouver Washington School District.

A serious foot injury spurred a long time interest in pilates training. The shattered sesamoid bone in her foot required that she spend 13 months in a cast and on crutches. Though she was unable to walk during this time, it was then that she discovered a passion for, and an ability to move through, the Pilates exercise system. In March, 2004, after extensive training in the STOTT PILATES™ method, she opened Island Pilates Center located on Whidbey Island in Langley, Washington.

Leslie Larch is a Certified STOTT PILATES™ Mat & Reformer instructor.
