Island Pilates Center
offers private and small group pilates
classes. We emphasize form, focus, and precision
of movement to help clients acheive effective
core support, strength and stability. We aspire
to create challenging workouts that leave you
feeling invigorated, strong and healthy. We encourage
all pilates students to continue applying
pilates principles to their daily lives and other
exercise activities.
Instructors: Leslie, Nicole
& Eva have all been trained in the
contemporary method of pilates, STOTT PILATES,
which incorporates mordern principles of exercise
science into the original method designed by the
late Joseph Pilates. This exercise system has
5 core principles: Breathing, Spine/Pelvic Placement,
Scapula Stability/Mobility, Rib Cage Stabilization,
and Cervical Spine Alignment. Practitioners will
notice improved
